Is it safe to say that we need this win to be assured of a NIT berth?

Most sites I saw seem to think we are not a NIT team without this win.

** And for the record, I never have a problem with a guy taking a last second shot. If the other team gives up then more power to you. This isn't little league. But if we can use that to our advantage as motivation then all the better for us...

I'm not a big fan of Maryland because of Rivers' senior year fiasco... but I sort of like their fans. They are just as rude/obnoxious as State fans and they share my immense hatred of all things Duke.

I mean, shit, they brought us Scheyer faces, JJ is Ridiculous-ly Gay, "Fuck you, JJ/Singler" chants and all that other great stuff... I mean who doesn't like that?

I'd kill for a PG like Vasquez on our team. He is nasty, has a chip on his shoulder and plays hard all the time... sign me up for one or two of those.

maryland fans can be funny during the game, but they act like they're better at life than us for some reason, so I hate them. They're the only fanbase that I've seen trying to fight our fans after a game...and I've seen it after wins and losses in both football and basketball.
