Great senior leadership throughout the year. I'll miss seeing him throw into double teams, not fighting through screens, throwing lazy passes, and just sleeping through his whole career. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I will miss Fells most of all just because of the ridiculous shit he could do on the court.

He should have been redshirted anyways, Herb fucked that up big time. I don't think Fells actually saw the court in his first year until the ACC or NCAA Tournament.

It may not be every high school athletes goal to work their ass off every day for 4 years. All i'm sayin is these are kids 18-21 who we put way too much attention and pressure on, and he probably doesn't give a shit if you're disappointed in his last couple years.

Fells is having a very nice pre-draft tournament. I think, with his frame and outside ability, he can catch on as a late 2nd round pick possibly, but more likely as an UFA and play in some summer league ball...

And I gotta say it's SHOCKING to me how many people hate on a former NC State player and pretty much are rooting for him to fail like it would be some indictment on our coaching staff if Fells makes the NBA. It's fucking pathetic...

lol, i just saw this. He damn near averaged a double double and 55%... do people honestly think we are going to have freshman waltz in here and put up double doubles in the ACC? Some people need a reality check (Zo Brown is the only guy I expect to immediately contribute).

Fells’s lack of standout athleticism didn’t plague him at the defensive end today, as he was working hard to keep his man out of the lane on most possessions. If he can maintain his defensive intensity and continue to shoot the ball well, Fells should turn heads all week—maybe making a case for himself as a Keith Bogans type rotation wing player. Though he still has a ton of work to do to hear his name called on draft day, Fells was the standout performer of day one. "

Same problems that he was having when he was here. Maybe working at basketball full time will allow him to develop his ball handling and foot speed (I guess thats what they mean by standout athleticism --- cause fells can jump).

It's incredible to believe that he can work to fix the ball handling issue, though, if he never improved it one bit over 4 years in college. Even if both of our staffs sucked at skills development, he needed to have Julius Hodge's work ethic and desire to improve if he really wanted to be an NBA player.
