"Best of Three" Championship Series
March 30th - April 3rd

Even if this ends up being games against UNC-Asheville or Stetson, it's still extra practice for next year.

i mean, i get that the collegeinsider.com tourney wanted smaller teams, but at least put one "big" team in there so somebody will watch that shit. jk, winning that wouldn't be any good, maybe just to tell mccauley and fells not to come so we can see what next year might look like

yeah apparently the CIT is a mid-major/minor conference tournament, which is good for them and their fans i guess. i mean, its better than being D-II, right?

but the fact that we didn't make this other tournament just about makes me laugh my head off. that truly is some NC State Brand Shit (tm).

Im guessing we turned an invite down, rather than not being invited. I mean, they did invite Wichita State (16-16), St. Johns (16-17), and Oregon State (13-17), although I guess that could boil down to "well they are still .500", the Big East, and Barack Obamas brother-in-law. I guess the PTB are aware that the embarrassment of not being in a tournament this year will go away a lot quicker than the embarrassment of playing in one of these two tourneys.

There was talk last year that we were invited to the CBI and turned it down because it was a money-losing proposition.

Wouldn't be surprised if that was the case again.
