My dad got a bolt bin a few months ago and I want to get some bolts for it. Prob. 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2 different lengths with nuts and lock washers. I want to get the most for my money and am willing to order online. I heard tractor supply sells bolts by the pound, but I don't if thats the best deal. I was thinking fastenal also but I really don't know. I figured my local hardware store is going to be the most expensive. What do y'all think? 3/16/2009 10:28:11 PM |

^no specfic grade, just some basic stuff.
I live in Rockingham county north of G-boro. So agri-supply is a little drive. Right now I'm thinking tractor supply burlington may be my best bet.

AgriSupply has regular and extra galvanized, its all $1.99 lb I think. Wilders has some crazy off the wall shit if you happen to need a metric stainless lock nut.
TSC has the same deal, bulk is the way to go.

I once had the opportunity to buy out an entire hardware store's fastener section...cheap. Every time I spend $20 on a handful of bolts I kick myself. 3/16/2009 10:44:45 PM |
