OK so I just beat the computer, like this



but the computer scored it in my stats as a draw.....this has happened several times now. WTF, that is a total check mate, how is that draw. To me a draw is when both kings are left, i dont get it

It is a stalemate. Checkmate is wen the king is in check and can not make a move.

You just need to learn how to set up your finishing moves. When I was learning to play it wasn't uncommon for me to kill off all the other player's men except their king and then spend 15 minutes trying to figure out how to trap the king into a checkmate. It's a crucial part of your game that you don't get to practice much as a n00b.
