yes, ftw, I know there's a Tournament thread....but this is threadworthy bc it could turn into a good discussion

I gotta go with Radford though. not just because I hate UNC, but I saw RU's conference tourney game and they looked damn good. solid, huge big man too (though I'm sure Hansblo will get him fouled out by halftime)

should've used this hour for a countdown to the penn sate game thread.

this is threadworthy considering a #16 has NEVER beaten a #1?

This is almost as good as your thread for the Iowa game that isn't being played

i dont have any upsets after round two, but streaks are meant to be broken

FWIW, it's not really an upset if a 9 beats a 8, or a 5 beats a 4

ou are correct. but you got to know that a 1 isnt playing a 2 and a 3 isnt playing a 4 in all the brackets. i threw my shit away last year after the first round and just watched the championship game.

You really think the "equal number of bad calls/no-calls for both teams" scales wouldn't start to tip in UNCs favor should the game start getting close.

^ I dunno. The ACC refs won't be there to blow the whistle if he's breathed on wrong

Depends on whether the NCAA thinks they'll get more ratings from UNC or from the Cinderella team that will probably just lose in the next round anyway, thus removing that angle for any potential ratings boost from that point forward.

ETSU. Been to a few of their games this year including the conference championship. Granted they are playing what many people, including myself, believe to be the best team in the nation, they were playing really well at the end of the year. That being said, I give the odds at 100,000:1

on the mike & mike show this morning seth davis of espn said that he thought, in his lifetime, that a 16 seed will beat a 1. part of me wants to agree with him but i'm not sure

it seems like one should there can't be that much separation between all the ones and twos and all the fifteens and sixteens, so if the fifteens can beat twos why wouldn't a sixteen eventually beat a one. I guess it may not be in my lifetime though.

heres hoping its today

We could go undefeated, win every game by double digits, and have a top 10 RPI in the country, and they'd find a way to 2-seed us

26-23 Pitt vs E Tennesee St.... could be interesting

Closest team to ever get to beating a 1 seed @16.... E Tennesee St (vs Oklahoma, by 1pt)
