I was an acolyte.....got to the bottom of the wick one day at the end of the service and the shit fell off....well, we were in the middle of the prayer so I wasn't looking....I, along with the whole congregation, opened my eyes to a small fire at my feet

when my sister got married my other brother and sister and myself lite a candle with something that looked like that (though shorter) in memory of the grandparents.
