i liked keen
doesn´t require the textbook powerpoint slides are basically an outline of the book attendance is only required on test days you can miss one test and make it up on the last day of class as an essay test regular tests are multiple choice with a few short answer questions 3/24/2009 10:25:07 PM |

Keen!...basically wat the person above me said.
Keen--> 40MC, with 5 fill in the blank, a short essay...you can skip class since all of the info is on the powerslides and you dont need the text Hyman--> i think he has 2 essays only per exam... idk if you can skip his class or need the text 3/24/2009 11:08:57 PM |

I have Hyman right now
and yes, it is Essay tests (2 essays per test, and I think he drops one or two of them at the end of the year); the text is not needed (I sold mine back a couple of weeks ago, cause I never used it); and the final is multiple choice
his powerpoint package he sends out makes notes very easy to keep up with
I think it really just matters what fits in your schedule and which format of testing is better suited for you. I haven't found the tests to be hard (gotten 95's on both of them thus far), and attendance isn't required- it does help though in studying (he has lectures pre-recorded in the library though which you can check out if you do miss class) 3/25/2009 12:11:51 AM |

I had hyman last year. He is pretty cool for a british guy. The essays aren't that bad, just write down everything you know relevant to the prompt and you pretty much are guaranteed a 9 or 10. 3/26/2009 12:54:30 PM |

If you miss a test in Keens class he makes you take an oral exam and you dont get the curve that the rest of the class gets. 3/29/2009 8:55:27 PM |
