Damn IGN's Messiah War special had articles on everyone involved saving the best for last. The last character was Apocalypse then in the description they say he probably won't even be in it. FML

Apparently Deadpool froze himself and they thaw him out in the future so he'll be part of the storyline too. With something as important as the last mutant born on earth do you think its wise to have Deadpool running around?

So I don't think X-force Volume 2 is part of the Messiah War storyline and I don't even think it continues the storyline with Bastion because I keep hearing about the Leper Queen in it. Maybe it does both but I know for sure Cable Volume 2 is dealing with the Messiah but doesn't come out until May.

The beauty of this storyline is that if Bishop kills Hope the M should leave his face. He should actually go through drastic changes. Not so sure why he doesn't already.

always found stryfe/cable stories to be incongruent with existing storylines at best. Thrown together and downright cheesy at worst

The only story I've read with Stryfe was Xecutioners song and it was pretty good.

I heard the most recent outting with Stryfe was pretty horrible, but so were the last two for Apocalypse.

I have never heard of Ultron but those Sentinels are looking pretty beastly lately. Did they ever finish up the storyline with Bastion from X-force 1-6? That seemed like a pretty interesting story. I've also read about Vulcan and the Shiaar but only on wikipedia. It looks like that storyline has been going on for quite a while.

Pretty much.
After Cable is infected with the Techno-organic virus the Askani bring him to the future and clone him hoping they can salvage something.
Apocalypse attacks the Askani and captures Stryfe in order to use him as a host body.
Apocalypse can not use a clone as a host but Cable, Cyclops, and Jean Grey defeat him regardless.
