If i want to make my printer wireless, what are the steps that I need to take to do this?
Also it cannot be connected to the router because my Internet is provided through the apartment complex. Is wireless printing still an option or not?

I use a D-Link DPR-1260. The hardware works fine, but don't use D-Link's software install. I had to clean up the mess it left behind and configure my printer drivers manually.

However, the D-Link connects to my network, which you say isn't an option.
I don't know of any wireless print servers that don't use an existing network. 3/25/2009 6:08:42 PM |

if you also have a hard-wired computer tied into your router, the easiest thing is to install it on that computer and share it on the network and use your laptop to access it wirelessly] 3/25/2009 7:29:48 PM |
