That they won't switch to the fucking MSU KSU game that is close when the UNC game is a blowout? Wtf, dumbasses.

I agree, fuck CBS & UNC.

I was wondering if they switched over in other regions of the country, and kept it on the UNC game almost the entire time in only the Triangle / North Carolina. Anyone elsewhere know?

More than likely they did.

CBS runs 2 feeds for each game, a constant feed and a flex feed. WRAL got the constant feed for the UNC game, that is, the game will not switch no matter what is happening in that game. The flex feeds switch around depending on game situations.

guys, if we were one of two sweet 16 games being played and the local station switched to a different game, tww would be in an absolute uproar.

food for thought.

yeah you should have noticed that it wasn't going to change over since every time they said tournament update they just showed a live feed of between timeouts and no commercials.

but i figured WRAL had something to do with it. and good for them, i would hope for the same treatment if NC State ever made it to the sweet sixteen

^^^ I know I'd be pissed. But being NCSU they'd probably cut away.

Up 20 with 6 minutes to go versus tied game with 1 minute to go...no, I would not be in an uproar, not at all.

Nah, the network would give us the ol' Louisville triage.

when two games were on, one was being shown on WRAL - 2 (formerly the WRAL newschannel, which is 5.2)

and FYI - WRAL has nothing to do with what game they go to, it's all CBS so blame them

plus you could watch all the games online for free, for $5 on iPhone (and some other phones) and apparently different satellite or cable channels. Basically I agree they should've switched it but you had other options
