Two badass crash sequences but the overall plot sucked a fat one

Nick Cage mailed it in as usual and the kid was a fucking terrible actor

It was also too long

I wouldn't recommend it

I just wish that door closed just a little bit slower in the first National Treasure so Sean Bean could have killed him once and for all

i actually enjoyed it. had a final destination'y feel to it. the storyline i thought was interesting (kept me hooked the whole movie), and the special effects were pretty awesome.

i thought it would suck, then I read previews where critics liked it... I usually agree with Ebert and he said it was one of the best sci fi movies he had ever seen... so I had high expectations and went to see it... it sucked. Parts of it were ok, but overall it wasnt that good. Plot made no sense.

does not compute. Something cant have a final destination'y feel and be enjoyed. Horrible movie

Same thing happened to me...I usually side with Ebert and got excited when he geeked out over the camp value of Van Helsing. Holy gefiltefish it was bad.

plane crash scene = best crash scene ever imo.

rest of movie is ok, not bad, not going to see it again, not disapointed, not great. But it was worth burning the extra time i had.

On the topic of Final Destination, although the movies weren't spectacular, the death scenes were really awesome and creative.

I liked the movie with the exception of the alien thing. It kind of renders the whole plot pointless, but maybe that WAs the point of the movie..... I dunno.

Someone made a TWW thread when they were surprised that a Nic Cage film was bad.

YET FOR SOME REASON I'LL BE BACK TO POST TOMORROW. FML.

^haha

Same expectations I had going into the film.

I won't say it was great, but I did enjoy it. The CGI could have used some work (CGI director sure loved him some crappy digital fire), but the visualization of those effects was second to none. The train derailment was probably some of the most intense rendering I've ever seen.

But with the ending, what was this? A shamalamadingdong film? I think I had some notion that aliens HAD to be in the film from early on, but I really didn't want to believe it.

Obligatory ZOMGZ THEY HAD WINGS, ANGELS!

I liked it all but the ending, then it was just a huge let down . . are we SURE this wasn't an M. Night Shyamalan movie??? 'Cause it sure as fuck had me going until the end, much like having water be the secret weapon.
le sigh.
I should have known better, I hate Nic Cage.
