There has been a discussion of a change in our school name and mascot to better reflect our state. The University of North Carolina State sounds pretty good and carries with it a winning name. Also, for cultural reasons, the name Tarpacks would make sense. What do you think?

Sports Marketing is very important to this fine school. Our usage of advertisements and other fun, innovative marketing techniques draws fans and recruits. A projected profit boost of around 15% could accompany a name change like this, possibly more with a change in team colors and/or mascot and logo.

Good point, the Bobcats could experience a serious boost in revenues with a name change as well. A complete identity overhaul could boost attendence too, especially if it includes a new, exciting mascot. I suggest a name like "Wyld", or something that screams "high energy", like the "Charlotte Spidermen" (charlotte's web, spiders, get it?)
