Since I don't actually do much (in case the union reads tww) any work myself anymore

Retubing 1-A evaporator, replacing the ash system and economizers in the C-2 boiler, replacing piping at the river pumps, replacing isolation valves in the main steam headers, replacing brick in the lime kiln, 5-year turbine generator inspection, fan pump on the #1 pm, and replacing blow lines on the digesters.


Gonna be busy the next few days, after that I'll be on cruise control for night shift because we will only have two round the clock jobs lasting until the 26th

Kinda creepy being here at night during the cold outage, no power, no water, no steam, no air, just really fuckin quiet

Get your company to buy some new boiler feed systems and steam deaerators. Specify BFS Industries equipment with all the bells and whistles, and place your equipment order through Industrial Boiler & Mechanical, Inc. in Chattanooga.
