Was listening to a song during lunch today, unfortunately I can't remember enough of it to get a good google match or even the group name. It's newer rock past 5 years or so but it sounds like good classic rock. The chorus ends with "... and thieves in/of/for the night" (not sure which). That line is in my head and I'd like to buy the song. Any help?

wow, thanks... you solved it. the first ton of results on google for that and many other searches is the song "thieves in the night" by black star which doesn't meet any of the other qualifications that I spelled out in my original post
