well,Peggy's parachute fails to open during her anniversary sky dive and she plummets to the ground. She survives the impact, however, and is rushed to the same hospital where her step-mother-in-law Didi has just given birth.Hank feels extensive guilt for having encouraged her to jump, while at the same time desperate to keep her from remembering that he had encouraged her to jump. Peggy is placed in a full body cast and begins the slow process of recovery. (Unlike many animated series, Peggy's recovery remains a plot element throughout several subsequent episodes, instead of Peggy having fully recovered by the next episode.)Peggy returns home from the hospital, and is, according to her, one of only sixteen people in the world to survive a sky diving free fall. Cotton and Didi stay with Hank and Peggy while Didi recovers from giving birth to their son, whom Cotton names Good Hank (nicknamed G.H.). Didi soon develops postpartum depression and leaves the job of tending to Good Hank to others, most often Bobby, who folds under the pressure. With no one else in the house, Peggy manages to rock Good Hank to sleep by nudging his baby carrier with her big toe, one of the few parts of her body not encased in the body cast. Eventually she remembers what had made her jump: jealousy over Didi's having given birth, which she had overheard Bobby tell Hank over the phone, rather than Hank's encouragement to jump.
