Or if they would sell "just marshmallows" cereal.

Is that the one that used to be on Westcheter, across from Price's Nursery?

What a nasty place that was

The only one I remember was on Main st. A whole bunch of places tried to open up in that drive-thru only place and they all failed. it was a Chinese restaurant at one point.

Oh man, I grew up on Sally's Hot dogs.

2 for $1

My neighborhood friends and I used to bike up there in the summers and get hot dogs. Thems was the days.

Roy Rogers still exists up north. Really though, is it any different than Arby's? Not that I can tell.

My dad was the assistant manager/co-manager of the Best Products behind Sally's for a number of years in the late 80's/early 90's, so I remember Sally's well.

Miami Scrubs...

I know they still exist, but not in the same quantity that they used to.

there's still a few Roy Rogers (as well as Bob's Big Boy) in the service plazas along the NY State Thruway, but it's cafeteria-style where all the food is pre-cooked and put under heat lamps, so it sucks.

i haven't seen a stand-alone Roy Rogers restaurant since the mid 1990's.

it was always weird to me how there were certain spots that no matter what went there, they always fail (and yes i know about babu).

I ate at a Roy Roger's in New Jersey on the way to see a friend in NYC.

I'm pretty sure I saw Bob's Big Boy as well.

I wish I could say Gumby's but somehow it lives on.

On Hike Night in, I think it was '05? My best friend threw up in Bowls because he decided to take a break w/ their shitty cereals and it just didn't mix well taste-wise.

What was the place that used to be where Sakura Express is now? Sakura is pretty horrible itself but I remember the place that was there before being very mediocre as well.

Oh, and I got food poisoning at Spinnaker's in Cary around 10 years ago.

It was a club called Colorado's back about 10 years ago, but if there was something in between Colorado's and Sakura, I don't remember what. That building sat vacant for a long time, as did the one next door (which was a Hardee's long ago before becoming Zaxby's).

tokyo express is the SHIT. otherwise, high point sucks ass. i grew up there. literally, the ONLY bars are the ones at the restaurants (ham's, chili's, liberty). however, there is a rather nice joint called THE CLADDAUGH over by sonic/IHOP that we frequent for some dewar's and coffee.

I ate at a standalone roy rogers last time I was up in leesville VA, yes they are different from Arbys. The roast beef tastes totally different, and they have pretty good fried chicken. I think most people remember them from after they were bought out and the new owners tried to basically make them into hardees/arbys. The "new" owners (some of the original franchisees) of the chain have gone back to the way it used to be, which I loved.

last time I ate at a big boy was like 93 when I was skiing in Lake Tahoe
