and then popped it or picked it off something like 3 times. I know, 'twas dumb, but my hand would wander up there and pop it almost before I knew what was happening. Now it's been two weeks, and it's no longer really feelable, but for damn sure it's visible: I have this ugly red dot there. And I'm starting to get worried. Will it fade? Has TWW any experience with a pimple that you picked the hell out of, and then it didn't fade for a long time, but eventually it did?

YES. I just had one, it took about three weeks to go away and drove me NUTS.

It will go away, quit touching it. Put some ointment on it and the scab will soften and it will disappear faster.

I have a pimple on my lip and at first glance it could pass for a cold sore.

I don't want people to think I have mouth herpes.

Once it scabs you don't really want to put any acid on it because it will only dry it out and get crustier. You need to moisturize.

i once had one on my cheek when i had bad acne. I picked it way to early and the whole area became infected and left a red fleshy area and then a what ball in the middle. it was revolting.

for about 4 weeks i was a lepper.

i had to put a legitimae band-aid on it when i could, but that really helped the healing
