Who would sell one of these locally? I'm trying to replace the LCD screen on my macbook pro and two of the screws to remove the top part of the case requires a TORX T6 screw driver which is lame in my opinion because everything else is phillips.

$5.98
http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=239384-16878-60272&lpage=none

And it's probably there to deter someone who can't find a T6 from attempting an LCD swap.

^^honestly i wish torx would have gotten wider adoption

i like it a hell of a lot more than phillips or flathead

p.s.

http://www.amazon.com/Task-Force-Pc-Pecision-Tool/dp/B001OOF9IO

if you can find this anywhere (lowes used to sell it, i haven't seen it around there lately though), get it. it's like $10, and has every screwdriver you'd ever need for electronics work, including torx and the really small phillips drivers (like size 000)

[Edited on April 24, 2009 at 7:12 AM. Reason : or just go find a set at harbor freight/northern tool]
