Her original owner called her Lampshade. I don't care much for the name but I didn't want to insult the previous owner by changing it completely, so I took the Hebrew word for "shade" (shimshiyah) and shortened it down to Shimmy.

Her eyes didn't come out well in that pic, here's a less evil looking shot:
