I used a template flash site and dreamweaver and flash cs4 to create a basic site for my brother. It is still very rough but the basic idea and placement of items and pages is fine. The issue is the screen size. I will preface this by saying I have very little knowledge of flash which is my first problem. I have tried different things found via google with either the resolution getting screwed up etc. Does anyone have a simple fix i can place in the code in dreamweaver to fit on a majority of the screens without losing resolution.

I can send someone the code if they would like to help me fix this. I am sure for one of you it is pretty simple or at least i hope it is.

Thanks in advance.

what do you mean by "the resolution getting screwed up"

if you're using graphics in your flash, obviously they need to be of an appropriate resolution or you're going to get artifacts when you resize the windows

Outside of games and video, flash should not be used for an entire website. From a usability perspective it's horrible. You can't search content, you can't cater to those who are impaired via disability, and well most websites look like crap that use it because they think it's "cool".

You'd be better off doing straight up old school html or resorting to Dreamweaver to generate the html if you aren't that code inclined.

^^ You can make Section 508 compliant Flash.

The problem is, it's just not worth it.
