Anybody heard of the Carolina Chocolate Drops? They are a rising black bluegrass band from NC and are amazing. The did a bluegrass cover of "Hit Em Up Style". If you like bluegrass/ old timey music or not, these guys are true musicians.

Not to be a dick or anything, but they are not a bluegrass band - they are a string band. Stringbands played for traveling medicine shows around the turn of the century. They get their name from, "The Tenessee Chocolate Drops.", which was the band that featured the incomperable, "Louie Bluie" Armstrong.

They are good though, and the real deal.
