I'd like it for my gf's new build. Thanks alot. Rather deal with people here than on CL who think they can sell a 64MB card for $20. 4/25/2009 2:03:36 PM |

I've got a BFG 7800 GS OC. This is going to be the fastest card available for AGP. The card is brand new and was never installed. I received it through the BFG warranty program when my 6800 GT crapped out. They sent me this, but by the time I received it I had already built a new machine with PCIe. I'll let it go for $80 (based on ebay completed listing prices)
Specs: Performance GPU NIVIDIA GeForce 7800 GS Core Clock 400MHz (vs. 375MHz standard) Vertices 600 million/sec. Memory Video Memory 256MB Memory Type GDDR3 Memory Clock 1250MHz (vs. 1200MHz standard) Memory Bandwidth 40.0GB/sec. Connections Bus Type AGP Connector(s) DVI-I, VGA + S-Video Out RAMDACs Dual 400MHz Multiple Monitor Support Yes HDCP Capable No
Minimum System Requirements > 128MB of system memory > Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, NT4.0 with service pack 5 or 6 > CD or DVD-ROM drive > 35MB available hard disk drive space (50MB for full installation) > A minimum 400W system power supply (with 12V current rating of 20A or more) > An AGP compliant motherboard. Some motherboards violate the AGP specification and therefore this card may not physically fit in some systems > An available hard disk drive power dongle (smaller floppy disk drive connector is not sufficient) 5/4/2009 10:15:12 AM |

Ahh my mistake. Not trying to mislead anyone. It was the fastest AGP card out when I got it. I didn't really keep track of AGP cards, as that was a dying gfx technology when I received this card. Thanks for the info. The 7800GS OC is still going for any where from $70-$120 on ebay.

BTW, since April 23rd 2009, the BFG 7800 GS OC card has sold for an average price of $104.85 on eBay, not including shipping. And a majority of them are not new in box.
80 dollars is extremely reasonable and will probably play The Sims 2 without much problem. I do not know jlcoburn. If you were looking for a cheaper card, try
