According to the 3-yr calender, starting in Fall '09, exam week starts off with two reading days and then exams go from that Wed. to the next Thurs. Anyone hear about this? Long time overdue esp since all the profs make everything due the last day that they couldn't squeeze into the normal schedule. 5 years experience.

i think we should get rid of all these worthless breaks. throw out fall break, give us only thurs and fri for thanksgiving, get rid of reading days, we don't need good friday off, or MLK day, spring break is useless because it's too early anyway, so get rid of that. then move the beginning of fall semester up to where we get about 1 week off for christmas (dec 24th - jan 1st is all you really need).THEN we'll have a nice long summer in which we can work and make almost an extra month of pay instead of laying around at home during all these breaks.^i don't see it being much different. a handful will use them, but those are the same folks who were fine without them. some folks need to learn to handle stress and deadlines.[Edited on April 26, 2009 at 7:18 PM.
