There are around 190 countries in the world. Sixteen countries recognize her as head of state.

16 is not most of 190.

There are 6 billion people in the world. The combined population of all the countries which recognize the queen as head of state is about 130 million.

130 million is not most of 6 billion. In fact, if you combined all those countries, it would only be the tenth most populous in the world.

Even if i could tell a powerful figure off why would i undertake such an action unless I was making a realistic rational power move that would elevate my position/wealth.

As much as i was disgusted with George Dubs presidency if he called me up and wanted to go hit up the bar, serve under one of his department heads, or just shake my hand I would do so.

Even though the queen has no direct or constitutional power; I do think she is a major power broker with significant influence. The prime minister meets with the queen weekly in private unrecorded session for tea. I think the role of the queen is beneficial as a stabilizing force and whose opinion does not flap in the wind due to a constantly changing public view or greed for wealth/power.

The monarch theoretically wields immense power as it is. Presumably they don't do so because they like parliamentary democracy and don't want to diminish it, but the only thing stopping them is the populace. If Queen Elizabeth were to exercise her technically legal powers fully, the people would throw her out on her ass. But if she had popular support, she already has sufficient powers to rule much more directly. Among those are key things like command over the armed forces which could be used to take whatever other powers she chose.

Of course, if a monarch had the sort of popular support that would allow them to do that, parliament would already just be a rubber-stamp anyway.
