whats interesting is that terrence howard had a contract to appear in 2 iron man movies and the studio broke it. i wonder what the penalty was. terrence wasn't thrilled about being in the movie anyway, but still.

I think there were were some money issues. from what i read, he was upset that the movie made it HUGE and nobody got a raise except for RDJ. I can understand that I suppose. He was a big part of the movie but he wasn't the only component to the movie. I have a feeling this role is going to be more action than the last ironman for that particular character. and i've never really been a fan of don in action rolls.

they both are awesome actors though. I just like when main cast stays for sequels. its like changing artwork in a comic for one person randomly.

I love Don Cheadle as well.

And I wasn't that happy with Terrence Howard in the first Iron Man anyway, but I'll be moderately annoyed and the lack of continuity in not having him in the second. I don't like it when movies have roles that are replaced in later successive films. Like how Rachel Weisz wasn't in the third Mummy. It's annoying. /opinion
