I just set up my hp printer and put the new drivers. When I try to print the page comes up blank. I tried switching to color and the first time it came up but trailed off and every time I increased the dpi it came up blank. Do you think I need more ink or is there another problem?

already checked hp support and they were of no help.

google doesn't always have the answers.

Also does anyone know if the place on hillsborough street that fills up ink cartridges actually fills them up completely? It seems I just got mine filled and they are empty again. If I take them to them they will probably just say they're empty to make some money even though I may be having trouble with my computer.

Apparently only the color blue is printing. I thought if the color cartridge had ink it would do all colors?

It's a refilled cartridge? I'm guessing that it has dried out ink bits clogging the little thermal inkjet nozzle things HP uses. I'm pretty sure all HP inkjet printers come with printer servicing software that'll let you clean the cartridge for stuff like this. Usually when it's that far gone (and not actually out of ink) you're better off just replacing the cartridge. Anyway, go into the printing preferences for the printer, click on the services tab, and select "service this device". Somewhere in there is a simple thing for cleaning the cartridges.

Also, your color cartridge has three different tanks for ink. Use the app I just mentioned (where you go click on service this device) to check ink levels for your cartridges. Even if it's clogged it should still show what the ink levels are. That way you can figure out whether cartridgeworld screwed you or not.

It's generally cheaper to buy the manufacturer's cartridges (new) anyway just because of things like this. Just buy it online in a 2 pack or something and it'll probably only be slightly more expensive than going to cartridge world. Don't buy ink at brick & mortar outlets.
