Obviously I'm not a chick, but I'm not seeing it.

Especially in that 3rd pic. Looks kind of like a pussy Dolph Lundgren.

Not exactly, its Twilight, but from Edward's perspective. You already know the story but you learn a lot about his internal struggle or whatever. I haven't finished it, but it's pretty good so far.

The concept of vampires that "sparkle" in sunlight has to be one of the gayest things I've ever heard. Does this guy go to school at UNC or what?

ANYONE who reads twilight over the age of 18, fails at life.

Read them all. Hated them all. (I just wanted to be in the know so I could discuss.) Also, Rob Pattinson...he wasn't gorgeous in Harry Potter and he looks exactly the same. I don't understand why suddenly everyone is freaking out about how hot he is.

hah! I wouldn't mind reading a story from Edward's perspective.

I've always been a vampire girl. I had the biggest crush on Lestat in my teenage years. So silly.

I tried really hard to hate this book then the bf brought home the movie on a whim, I watched it and remembered what my sister said, that the book was a trillion times better than the movie. So I bought and am now hooked, help me.

These pictures are smokin, love the messy hair and awesome jawline.

Movie was pretty horrible imo, hopefully with the success of the first one the second one has a larger budget and will deliver.

Yeah the movie was severely off. I guess it's hard to portray the thick emotions going on between the two.

The movie didn't do it for me until I read the book and I think Rob is the perfect fit for the part of Edward lookwise.

I didn't even know that he was in Harry Potter.

My sister also told me she did not picture Edward looking like Robert, I can't help it because I saw his image before reading it. She happened to read them before it was popular.

I think it's really cool she wrote this stuff off of a dream. I often find myself wanting to write something down before I forget and turn it into something more.

If you are over the age of 13 and like Twilight, it goes far, far beyond a lack of taste. You are a worthless human being, if it can even be said that a Twilight fan is a human being.

WOW. worthless human being or not human? I don't even know why you feel so strong about something so frivolous, spooky. I am glad you have never read it or enjoyed it especially if it allows you to still be a human being by not reading it. meh.

I am glad that it has brought so many people joy and it is def not written for people 13 and younger. Too much sexual tension in it. I think it has gotten so many women's attention because there is that fantasy of absolute devotion that a large portion of women lack in their relationship with their significant other.

I do think opinions are awesome. Why so serious and angry?

Stupid people that leaked it out on the web and pissed her off...who knows when she will finish it.

And yeah, it's definitly not written for people younger than high school, I mean the 4th book is probably better suited to people over the age of 18.

And punchmonk has it right, the reason women over the age of 18 like it is because they are able to experience not only the joys of that first love, but the joys of that first love lasting forever (literally), and the fact that this man does everything in his power to please her (except in the 2nd book )

Anne Rice spends WAY too much time detailing every fucking thing. It made me lose interest in the rest of the series concerning Lestat. I LOVED The Violin though.

I think what it is about the Twilight series is how devoted Edward is to Bella and how he loves her so much he can't bare to be without her. Pretty much every girls fantasy but men just aren't like that, typically.

And sawah, on her website they say the project she is currently working on is Midnight Sun. Has anybody thought of just continuing a series til death? Or does it get too drawn out like Harry Potter? I always hate it when a series is over, makes me sad.

Since she put up that chapter of Midnight Sun, almost a full draft was leaked onto the internet and she ~FLOUNCED~ and said she'll never write more Twilight because people don't respect her work and artistic rights.

Yeah it's good when describing the sex but when it's about the feel of the clothing rubbing against the skin as he walks for three pages I'm like CARLFACE, hah

Quote :
"June 2008 Update: In response to the outrageous number of emails that I have received with questions concerning Midnight Sun, I talked to Stephenie this weekend and she asked me to let everyone know that Midnight Sun is her next project. She has not yet finished writing it (and there is no timeline set up, so we all need to put a lot of effort into being patient for a while longer), but she is definitely still planning on having it published. And, after Breaking Dawn comes out, Stephenie will have much more time to focus on writing Midnight Sun. "

But as of August she said she was putting the project down indefinitely because of the douchehats.
