The horse with the best 'roids.

I too will be tuning in around 6:20 to catch as much of the race and as little of the hype as I can.

im going with Desert Party

top 3 are

Fresian Fire
Dunkirk
Desert Party

my longshot that will make a splash: Summer Bird, just because its a sloppy track and he likes distance, having to work harder to get through the mud will benefit.

Dunkirk(i love grey horses in distance races)
Pioneer of the Nile(just due to the win machine at the helm)
Desert Party(gotta love that he was trained and thrives on the CD)

I, too, like Summer Bird for the longshot and will get a bet from me for that alone

but the real fun to watch will be:
Hold Me Back, he should close like no other horse out there

16 - 11 - 6

Pioneer of the Nile
Chocolate Candy
Friesan Fire

2 Longshots:

Musket Man: 2

Flying Private: 20

Flying Private would be in my trifecta if he wasn't on the outside

Mine That Bird (50-1) – Could be the longest shot on the board. If you like that kind of bet, be my guest. This horse hasn’t broken 81 on the Beyers and all his wins were on the Woodbine Polytrack.

So the winning horse was the first winner from Sundland Park. I lived in El Paso for 2 years and we would go to Sunland Park all the time to bet on horse racing. That's pretty cool.

why do all race horses have to have such absurdly stupid names? Is it some kind of rule? Why can't there just be a horse named Pete or something
