While I have not gotten huge into "Clothes and Shoes"(formerly known as pocketwatch) their drummer is absolutely phenomenal. Probably the best all around (jazz, salsa, metal, hardcore, rock, r&b, you name it) drummer i've seen play out a lot who is from Raleigh.

Since this is at the Brewery, does it mean that a bunch of high school bands are opening for Goner?

yea, just don't go to the shows that the high school bands are on and you're fine

with that being said, I can't say what this show will be like. I don't know Nathan Oliver, River City Ransom, or Jews and Catholics so I really can't say anything about them or their crowds. So outside of Goner, the only one I know is Clothing and Shoes and they are definitely not a high school band. Thats as much insight as I can provide hah.

Jews and Catholics are a damn good band. Their album (I think it's their one and only) was really fucking solid.

I saw them once live and it was still good, despite trying to pull it off as a two piece.

I haven't heard of any of the others, except for Goner.... and I've never seen Goner, just saw their front man do some solo stuff and it was fucking horrible.
