When you insert the code for Xbox live does it say how long it is for on the system?

Just bought a code on eBay and want it e-mailed but want to make sure its a 13 month code, or 12 and 1 month; however it goes.

well shipping is one dollar and I'm assuming its a 12 month and 1 month card so there is no way to confirm both codes now so fuck it; i'll let them ship it.
