Who ripped off who?

Kid Cudi - Day and Night
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tln5gGCs1cU

vs.

V Factory - Lovestruck
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIunP5FgD4A

Seems too close for coincidence. I first heard both songs debut on the radio in the past 2-4 weeks. Someone selling the same regurgitated beats twice?

Wait, you're just now realizing that rappers are talentless hacks?

all the beats in the world there are going to be some similarity.

that is about as small of a similarity as you can get. there have been songs that came out with the EXACT same beat at the same time though. i think a ja rule song did that. there were some unhappy people

Been listening to Day and Night for sometime, glad to see it made it to the radio finally.

Lovestruck was a free download on iTunes a while back.

never heard of V Factory, but that Kid Cudi track is old as shit... at least use the Crookers remix to compare them

yeah i know i found the kid cudi song/crookers remix a long ass time ago. and it sounds like the loop youre referring to was produced by the same process, the sound alone still doesnt sound that similar between the two.

that and kid cudi's track isnt an embarrassingly gay song to admit listening to.

^^ I love it... but then again I love Garage and it has a lot of elements of it in there.

there are tons of tracks that are reused in some way all the time. I thought that is what tracks are for.

I should have titled the thread:

How cool are you? Tell me when you first heard this song.

I saved Kid Cudi's life one time back when I was his BFF* so he wrote that song for me and let me be the first person ever to hear it. He didn't even listen to it himself before playing it for me.

* Please note that I was his BFF, but he was not mine.
