So we've been on the fence about firing this woman that has worked at my company for 10+ years.

This morning she went batshit crazy over something she did wrong and starts blaming everyone but herself, of course. Loudly says "You need me more than I need you" and then she settles down a bit.

About an hour ago the CEO asks her, "Hey, do you know where I can find a big box?" and she growled "There's a big Dell one over by the bookcase where I put ALLLLLLLLL THE BOXES ALLLLLLL THE TIME!!!" I was like wtf is her problem?

So a few minutes later he stops by and hands me all her paperwork/files and stuff and says "do it now". I call her into a conference room and say "we're gonna let you go", she started balling and then cussing and then punched the door which looked like it really hurt.

She stormed back to her desk all huffy-like and what's sitting on her chair? A nice, big, brown Dell box with a note that said "Thanks for ALLLLLLLLL of your help!" on it. I ducked out quick and security had to come get her and escort her out of the building. [/blog]

Yeah, I don't know about unemployment, she has a nasty behavior/insubordination file, she was 60 hours in the hole for vacation time (cause the CEO is actually a nice guy) and Security had to write up an incident report when she left because she was cursing and screaming.
