noone (that has only seen the video) has any idea what that dude did before that video began, he might have deserved a sucker kick to the face. i'm not defending the cop, but people are all up in arms to defend a criminal off of NO information other than the last minute of a chaseand from what i saw, that kid was hauling ass on the wrong side of the road, hit a parked car that could have had someone in it, as far as i'm concerned a mouth full of rubber isn't exactly cruel and unusual. if he'd been in cuffs and in the back seat of a cruiser and that cop hit him, yeah that'd be clearly wrong. but dude was still a potential threat, if you're gonna fight you'd better be prepared to get hitwho really expects cops to be professional these days anyway

How much more do you need to know other than he was on a dangerous high speed chase that only ended when he wrecked. Based on that info alone I'd say he got off pretty easy with only one kick to the head.

Fuck that the dude was already on the ground with his hands out; the kick was totally uncalled for. If I did that to someone it would be an assault charge but this fucking pig faced faggot can do it because the dude broke the law? The guy is already going to go to jail for this shit, the stupid fucking pig needs to do his job right.
5/16/2009 3:45:54 AM
Yeah, I think he should have kicked him harder, it didn't look like he knocked him out.
5/16/2009 3:48:57 AM
definitely uncalled for, no reason whatsoever to do that. He was fucking surrendering.
5/16/2009 3:52:39 AM
I'm definitely against police brutality, don't get me wrong, but I don't feel like a good wholesome ass-kicking constitutes brutality. Bad taste and unprofessional? Sure. Illegal and threatening the cop's job? Naw. The guy fucked up, he should regret it. If they had all ganged up on him and beat him within an inch of his life, now that would warrant serious consequences. Now if the guy had been caught red-handed in the original crime and submitted on the spot, the cops would have no right to injure him in most cases. But if he wanted to run or fight, he's entering into a game with physical consequences, and he got a kick in the face. Big deal.

^^no. even though he put 1000s of lives in danger and showed a lack of regard for anyone's safety but his own, he deserved to be treated like a nice person when he had no other choice. I mean, lets put his rights, well being, and safety first. give him a lollipop and make sure the handcuffs don't pinch him when you're putting him them on. I don't see how anybody could sympathize with that piece of shit. At least drunk drivers can use the excuse of being drunk. Assuming he was sober, then what he did was worse.
5/16/2009 3:59:47 AM
treat him rough i don't give a fuck. but there's rough and then there's punting.

They make a thing called a blackjack to deal with people like that.Analogy, you take a mounted machine gun with a short belt of ammunition (30-40 rounds) and fire it into the side of a sparsely populated warehouse (8-12 people in a 1000 foot long side). There's little chance that you'd actually hit/kill/maim anyone due to their own diligence of hitting the deck, and their low density. However, if you were firing a machine gun into the side of a warehouse in public, you will be shot at to be killed. If you're arrested, you're supposed to get at least 10 years in prison. This guy got off easy with a punt to the head; I don't believe he would suffer great penalties under the law for that damn pursuit anyway, which is a shame.
