<3 bag fries

you think you ate all your fries then you look in the bag and there are always bonus fries on the bottom of the bag

Also excellent is the bonus curly fry or onion ring w/ your fries

I went to 5 Guys in Baltimore in early April and my wife and I were last in line of an apparent lunch rush. We ordered a small fry since we usually share that with no problems, but since they had a ton of fries made and they don't let them sit at 5 Guys, the fry guy gave us four extra scoops of fries in our bag.

We could not see the burgers at the bottom because of all of the fries. We had to rip the bag open and I doubt we ate more than a quarter of the fries we were given. It was sad to waste all of those amazing fries though.

The real challenge w/ bag fries is if they aren't your fries is how to sneak them w/o your friend seeing

I usually let whoever I may be sharing with get their fries out first and catch them unsuspecting as I steal the fries from the bottom in conjunction with my box'o'fries...

sometimes it doesn't work though

before this thread i never even called them bag fries

i clicked thinking about fries that are served in a bag (as in most in a bag on purpose) and being curious

my term for these fries was, and may remain "the fries that fall out of the box into the bag"

I have always called them "bag fries"

and there is an entry on urbandictionary for both "baglers" and "bag fries"

so it looks like there is some controversy about the proper terminology

Burger King did a commercial a while ago about Baglers...apparently they are fair game even if you didn't order fries.

burger king is terrible for allowing onion rings to make their way to like the middle of a fry box

I've made the mistake of ordering seasoned Five Guys fries...they were barely edible

the unseasoned fries are plenty seasoned

[quote]at 5 guys, you get as many bag fries as you do in the actual fry container. the basket they fry them in will hold.

i'm not sure what it is about the 5 guys fries but they are always overly soggy/greasy. maybe just overcooked.

That's the one I go to--not far from where I live.

And yeah, they always load up on the bag o' fries. I have to rip it open to even find my burger.
