So a few hours ago there's news of a shooting at the Beverly Center....at the time it was confirmed to be a 20 y/o male and 2 male suspects seen fleeing the scene. Then they had a BOLO for a mercedes SUV and nissan altima. Then reports of 'person of interest' found in a parking lot NEAR lax right by a mercedes SUV. Then about 20 minutes ago it is rumored to be a rapper named 'Dolla' who is dead. So off to Wikipedia I go and never mind the fact that an entire 'death' entry has now been put up... it turns out the cops made sure to log on there before anything else because according to wikipedia: it's some guy named 'Roderick Anthony Burton' who also happens to be Tim Burton's nephew, that is dead and apparently a chick was seen shooting him and then a person was caught trying to board a plane.

Ya know....either wikipedia is indeed as full of shit as one would think it is or someone inside the various police departments (in this example the LAPD obviously) is leaking info for no other purpose than to update wikipedia. I thought they tried to 'crack down' on these entries after the whole Chris Benoit thing..... wtf
