Are they legit? $600 from Osaka to NYC doesn't sound very legit

well their currency is undervalued so maybe if the currency were correct the rates would be more

lol a review I just found.

Quote :
"I flew Air China once and I have sworn I will never again. The aircraft was falling apart, the door hinges were rusted and the cabin crew were rude. The crew also did not mind the chinese passengers playing card games and yelling at each other as they threw their cards down on the pile at 4am while everyone else was trying to sleep. It was quite possibly the worst flight I have ever had."

Sounds like it could be entertaining on a shorter flight.

They wouldn't be allowed to fly to the US or Europe if they didn't meet the relevant safety standards.

northwest has reasonable asian flights, i flew them from detriot to shanghai last time and it was at least a grand cheaper than anyone else

northwest/continental are my airline of choice.

that said, i have flown many a "budget" airline with 100% success.
it was uncomfortable though, and maybe that's enough to make you pay a little more for such a looooong flight. (and i'm assuming you'll stop along the way, but the longest i've flown on one was about 3 hours and that was enough)

^ Yeah after adding in the cost of other shit it's not that great of a deal.

^^ heh I'm kind of thinking the same thing. 18 hours flying on shit planes might make me go crazy.

^^^ Northwest's trans-Pacific flights are horrible compared to the other US airlines. I don't know how different it is now that they're owned by Delta though. And they're no cheaper for Japan. Usually it's about a $20 difference between them and ANA. ANA is a much better choice of the two.

Ive flown China Airlines, China Eastern, Air China and Northwest around China. I flew Delta back from Hawaii. The Chinese airlines were fine, I didnt notice any problems. We flew NW into China and back to Hawaii. The plane we had from Tokyo to Beijing was practically brand new.
