1) when you have to get a CT or CR while you're in the ED, they surprise you before you get discharged by making you a copy on DVD of all the images & slicesit's sorta strange looking at your insides.

They commonly do that for outpatient studies, yesbut I can't remember a single time that's happened to a patient I've sent out from the ED

exactly.if you're getting them done "in"patient in the ED for diagnostic purposes, there's really no reason to send you home with copies... unless you're me.

I had to get some x-rays today. Ended up getting copies of them on a disc and it was free. All I had to do was ask. Also getting a copy of my CT Scan for free. Thx for letting me know this is possible. [Edited on May 28, 2009 at 8:27 PM. Reason : l]
