SUP TWWive been working on my computer dvr. found a thing that will add netflix to it... and i didnt realize that you could rent movies from netflix and not have to ever wait for the dvd to show up. (but i know you guys did, i'm just old). so i start clicking... i was looking at the programs. $13.99 to keep 2 dvds at a time, i guess per month? i think blockbuster was 20, right? i forget.anyways, they also have one of those 14 day free trials going on. this is more where tww comes infor now, i really just want to test this thing out online some and cancel within 2 weeks and not get charged. has anyone else done that successfully? free trials scare me, but nexflix has been around a while, and i can't read anything that makes it look like they'd try. figured i'd ask here, in case anyone wanted to praise the company or warn me about scam free stuff.THANKS!!!1

I did the 14 day trial and now get 1 dvd at a time. I use it to watch TV shows. For $8.99 or w/e it ain't bad.

as long as you cancel w/in the 2 weeks, you won't get charged...the 2 weeks begins as soon as you sign up.

so if i sign up and they ask for my bank card or a major credit card.... and if i quit in a week, my account never gets touched?unless, of course, i never call to cancel, then in 14 days i get a recurring monthly 16.99 posted to it. does this sound about right?(blockbuster let me pay cash in the actual store. that was a pretty good program too btw. but this time i just want the movies wired to my media player)

just make sure you call within the 2-week period and you won't get charged a cent.or better yet, they charge you, and you get the pleasure of starting a war between your credit card and netflix. ]
