Augusten Burroughs mentioned in his book on getting sober that he associated pretty much every song he ever heard with his bf. It broke my heart because I know exactly what he was talking about, it's like your world evolves around them and when they're gone, the world isn't whole anymore.

Best bet is to put yourself through breakup rehab and revisit each of the milestones that made you feel that person was unique - desensitizing songs, locales, habits and such.

i can't help but love this. i'm not sure why. (besides my general love of piano in songs) love story is one of those songs you know you shouldn't like, but it's good. swift actually seems to have some [real?] talent.
