I took this class, and if you can't pass it with an A, you have no future in PS.

It has more to do with notes than reading just know the main theories (feminist, multilateralism, etc.) and you'll be good

not a good terminal degree. only major in PS if you:

a. fail at other subjects that make good terminal degrees
b. have inside connects to a job and just need a degree
c. have a sterling record and a good shot at a career in politics/government
d. want to go to law school (sterling record helps)
e. want a master's in PS or a related field like PA (preparing you for local government admin)
f. want to get a PhD and teach/research
g. want to do something in HR (a lot of PS majors get into HR because of the government reports/contracts involved)
