mines been nearly flawless.
looking through my Spam folder, I have 200 messages from the past 3 days, and only one of them made it to my inbox

I have recently be in correspondence with Prince Andruw Mobgwedobi of Nigeria. He seems to be a stellar fellow with some great ideas. I am moving forward this week with the first of what is to be many prosperous business transactions by helping him claim his country's lottery winnings tax free.

Interestingly, a I used to get ~3000/month to my spam box, then that whole "spam raid" happened a few months ago and I dropped down to ~2000/month, but now I'm up to ~6000/month ... Really??!!?

I'd be pissed if 10% made it through, but no, Google is filtering just fine. Probably 1 every few days finds it's way to my Inbox ... and I have no idea if there are any false positives, I'm not sifting through my spam box.

In the past 1-2 weeks mine has gone from filtering nearly everything to letting ~1 per hour get through. Dunno what that is about.

i've not had any trouble

i did, however, have an email from a friend in thailand that was marked as spam, despite the fact that it was just a regular email (not a forward or anything)...aside from that, business as usual

I'm also getting an increased amount of spam, just deleted about 10 that came in today.

up until a month or so ago, i'd get 1 or 2 a day. they were all basically the same format, too.

not sure if it was adaptive filtering or human intervention, but i haven't seen another spam message since then.

yea, between gmail and apple mail my inbox stays relatively clean.

Gmail has always done a great job of filtering, but for the past week or so, its been letting a lot of crap through. It seems to have gone back to normal in the past day or so though.
