a damn good deal. they're refurbs, but come with full factory warranty.

the bass is a little weak, frequency response only goes to 90Hz... but otherwise, they're almost completely flat. you can't beat the price for a fairly decent entry-level set of monitors. i have the model one step up from these (the AV40s) and i couldn't be happier. looks like the only difference is an inch smaller woofer.

hell, i ordered a pair to use at work for just general music listening.
