I'd read the book twice (second time i finished 2 days before i saw the movie) and after i saw the movie i couldn't remember what the plot was.

I read it in high school and my teacher went through a great deal of explaining how the trial was kafka's way of dealing with something in his personal/political life i can't really remember exactly what.

perhaps his fear of being arrested for all this beastiality that he didn't think was illegal

my AP exam scores are as follows:
US history - 4
european history - 5
english - 5
biology - 4
computer science - 3

i got a 1480 on my SAT

my school system also paid for my net+, a+, and CCNA certifications (all of which i passed, of course)...yeah, it was pretty sucky

you have my pity, though, that you use the works a single author to gauge the entire education of people you've never met...you may have read kafka, but your school must have failed to instill a foundation in common sense
