Also, in case anyone missed the memo, I am openly bisexual (but in a committed LTR) and LOVE rainbows. I have rainbow curtains, earrings, hairbows, paintings of the visible spectrum, etc. This is unrelated to any queerness on my part.

It's okay if you missed the memo; since I'm not on the market I don't usually bring it up unless it's relevant to something.

I think Kryolan makes a really vibrant rainbow palette. I know they have the separate colors but I'm pretty sure there's a palette too.

im definitely in a makeup rut lately. physicians formula eyebrightener in classic eyelight, mascara, and either crimson, garnet or lilac loreal infallible. all my good shit is at home and i haven't felt like reinvesting...

I found a YouTube tutorial for applying it. It's really, really easy:

That girl has lots of other awesome tutorials too.

This is the stuff I used:



1. an angle brow or eyeliner brush
2. a fluffy eyeshadow brush
3. Urban Decay Primer Potion--fixing any creasing would take forever and this made the cheap eyeshadows show up a little better. Retails for $17 but there are lots of other eyelid primers. I've also used foundation set with a lot of powder and that worked okay.
4. L'Oreal HiP Bright Eyeshadow Duo in Flare (for the orange)--about $5
5. Icing eyeshadow rainbow pallette. $10 from Icing. I picked this up last week at CaryTowne. I used the colors along the bottom row and the silver/white for the inner corners.

Also used: drugstore pencil eyeliner, Diorshow mascara, and some white eyeliner. Since my shadows were cheaper and more talc-y than the cream eyeshadows the tutorial uses the colors are more sherberty. It still was really fun to wear though! I had all the other stuff already.
