6/8/2009 7:02:37 AM
BUT OBAMA HAS MADE CHANGE!HE HAS:- worsened the national debt- worsened the national deficit- brought this country closer to socialism- and has proposed trillions worth of excess spending, when the government and people have no money.
6/8/2009 7:41:14 AM
^BUT BUT BUT BUSH INCREASED THE DEBT TOO [/DUMBIDIOTBUSHHATERMYPRESIDENTISBLACKANDIDON'TCAREIFHE'SCOMPETENT]

6/8/2009 9:33:05 AM
yeh, but the point is, is that obama hasn't made any positive change, unlike what he said he would do, and what so many voters believed.
6/8/2009 9:34:08 AM
i didn't think he promised us change, but rather told us just to hope for it.
6/8/2009 9:36:28 AM
the dude hasn't even had 5 months to change anything, give him a break.
6/8/2009 9:36:49 AM
loland in a year when shit has gotten even worse is the counter-argument going to be the same as it is now?I promise you, if mccain was president, and shit was nose diving like it still is, people would be all over his ass for not doing enough/doing the wrong thing. 6/8/2009 9:41:06 AM
yep, but you never hear about it, unless you watch fox news. on the other hand, the rest of the U.S. news outlets are still praising obama, even though not a damn thing has changed. they are clamoring that his policies are great and working and that the latest jobs report is good news. good news??? how many hundreds of thousands of jobs are being lost still?
6/8/2009 9:42:03 AM
yeah keep that train of thought...socialized health care will do nothing good for this country, (though workout the insurance companies down to a much smaller slice of the pie could only be good for costs)
6/8/2009 9:43:49 AM
6/8/2009 9:44:16 AM
6/8/2009 9:45:41 AM
yeh, let's give the government more control over something they don't need control of. this government sucks at running things. not to mention, this country cannot afford national healthcare at this time (we are broke, ya know), the plan will hurt many people financially, and it will overburden the current healthcare network^see bigego's post. DOUBLING the national debt in his four months is his policies working??? [Edited on June 8, 2009 at 9:46 AM. Reason : .]

i'm interested in how he plans to fit healthcare into his alleged debt decrease plan... by eliminating the military?
6/8/2009 9:47:17 AM
6/8/2009 9:52:51 AM
yeh, anyone can walk into an ED and get healthcare already...the number of people who CANNOT get healthcare is fairly small and it is not an epidemic. they're aren't millions of people dying on the streets because they can't get medical attention.and yes, our current healthcare system is overloaded - and you want to worsen the problem??and the realty is, is that yes, we need to fix the healthcare and health insurance problems. yes, we should make it easier for more people to get healthcare. however, that doesn't mean we can afford to give every single person healthcare and we don't need to do it now, when NO ONE has any money.

it's already being paid for, as in my healthcare costs. and yes, it does suck on many levels, but...now is not the time for national healthcare and the current plan is garbage.

and one of the main reasons healthcare is unaffordable is because the U.S. pays the vast majority of R&D, advertising, and testing costs for medicines, procedures, and equipment; so instead of these companies having these items paid for by the world, they pass it onto the U.S. wish I could find that study, but it's been years since I read it. healthcare is expensive because of people suing for malpractice, driving up insurance for doctors, as well as medical school fees, etc.many things contribute to the high cost of healthcare
