yeah i guess you're right. i actually kinda liked aaliyah's stuff. she was a really talented artist and her death was tragic - at least that's what her E! True Hollywood Story says.

i remember when i found out about her plane crash, i was at one of those beginning of the year concerts that the UAB threw and de la soul was doing their set and somebody relayed the message to them in between songs. sad day.

i wouldn't go as far to say that it sucks, but i think paerabol was spot on. it's a pop song, plain and simple. there's really not that much to it. the only reason i like it is for nostalgia, but i wouldn't listen to it today. also, timbaland is way overrated as a producer. he doesn't even make most of the beats his name is on.
