Three people behind me in line in Talley got e-mails on their phones saying she had just been fired. One of them ran off to catch the ABC 11 camera crew before it left.

Is that Alex Miller guy still around NCSU? I don't remember what his title was, but I feel like he was somewhere lower in the administration, but he always seemed to be one of the few good guys around who would help out with events & support stuff... at least that was my perception, wouldn't mind seeing him move up the totem pole if there were free spaces higher up.

Alex Miller is the Associate Vice-Chancellor of student affairs, under Stafford. He specifically is in charge of arts programs and the University Scholars Program, and is the only member of the administration I trust to serve the students.

Of all the students who have dealt with Cousins, your opinion of him is part of an incredibly small minority. I worked with him multiple times during my stint as Student Body Public Defender, and I can say first hand he is a jackass.

My club had an intern from South Korea that was slated to come here to State and work for about 6 months.

She just got denied a couple of weeks ago because the department had low funding, and the grant wouldn't let the professor use the money to pay her salary. So her position was cancelled.

Shit like this pisses me off to no end.
