They added it fo free99 to the lowest HD package for dISH a month or so ago. Still loving having switched to dISH and dsl. Paying $62 per month for intertubs and 98% of the channels I'd want versus the $130 we were forking over to TWC. The DVR smokes TWCs, picture looks a little bit better. No reason to be with TWC unless you can't get a line of site or something.

I've had it for about 4.5 months now and it has gone out a grand total of 2 times, once for about 5 seconds and once for about 20 in those downpours we had a month or so back, the picture actually came back on and was fine while it continued to pour.

My TWC picture was pixelating once every few hours EVERY DAY. It's entirely possible replacing the lines from the road to the house would have helped that, but I'll be damned if I cared to deal with TWC service and having to schedule a 96hr window of when I needed to be home so they could stop by, only to have them show up in the last 30 minutes of said window.

Haha, yeah whenever I've called them for service they come either in the last 30 minutes or RIGHT AT the end time for the service window.

They just kinda suck like that.

I can't really speak to the customer service as I haven't had to call them once. With the refunds and 6 month intro rate, my breakeven month on sat+dsl vs TWC is like month 6 or 7 if I had to cancel and pay the fee for that.

I'm not a fan of the contract, but even adding it to the decision matrix still has dish crushing TWC in every way possible.
