My new boss wouldn't let me wear this like my other boss did. Do you see anything wrong with this? I don't!

both companies i've worked for since i graduated had us wear id badges. this is not uncommon, even in the professional world.

Tacky nametag is tacky.

And yes, there is a lot wrong with the nametag. And you.

I work for the #1 defense contractor in the world...
and I still have to wear a badge with my pic, name, security clearance level, and employee # that's visible at all times

given, this badge is like a key and lets me into certain buildings, rooms, etc...

i'm thinkin your manager's main problem is that your name isn't very visible on here. customers won't know what name to put down when filing a complaint.

1) It isn't tacky!

2) There is nothing wrong with the name tag. My name is Eric and it is easy to see the C in the block S.

3) There is nothing wrong with me and thank you for posting yet another smart ass comment that is directed at me in a thread.

i would be snarky here about you working at Lowes Food, but then the employment gods would take my job away from me just for shits and giggles.

^^No! The N is above the ERI and the C is next to the ERI, so it spells ERIC.

lol, you work at lowes foods?

that place was hell on earth. i was a bookkeeper/shift leader for a while in high school.

i did make an awesome badge though - i got tired of having separate cards for the register manager override stuff, self checkout admin stuff, and the store rewards card, so i just made barcodes that matched the ones on the respective cards and laminated them to the back of my badge i ended up making several people ones of their own. the store manager nor the CSM couldn't figure out how i did it, if that gives you any indication as to the caliber of store i worked in.

(last time i was in there, i actually brought my old badge (found it in a box of shit i was unpacking) and tried it on the self checkout registers... lo and behold, i still had full admin access i figured i would since i was the only one who knew how the damn thing worked)
